Structure

The members of the Honorary Council are elected by the General Assembly upon the proposal of the Presidium. Its task is to maintain and promote the tradition and reputation of our club. In case of disputes between members regarding club matters, it shall mediate. The Honorary Council of 1. FC Union Berlin consists of at least three and a maximum of five members, who must be over 45 years old and have been members of the club for more than 20 years. The members of the Honorary Council perform their duties on a voluntary basis and are independent and free from instructions by other club bodies.
